'Superbly intelligent, highly articulate and deeply sour' The Spectator
Since meeting at The Edinburgh Festival in 2000 Brian & Krysstal have entertained and delighted all kinds of audiences at comedy clubs, cabaret nights, festivals, corporate and private functions in locations far and wide. Regular fixtures at The Edinburgh Festival for eight years, the duo have worked all over the UK as well as Germany, South Africa, Gozo, Spain, Denmark, Ireland, Australia and of course… Peckham.
Brian is infamously grumpy and deadpan, while his assistant Krysstal is glamorous but ditzy. The combination is unique and very funny. Their timing is exquisite, their humour dry and sometimes bawdy.
Comedian, musician and presenter, Tom Houghton is a natural comic talent. A former member of improv comedy group The Noise Next Door, Tom was raised amongst the height of the British Upper Class, he attended boarding school from 6 years old, his father is the ex-professional head of the entire UK Armed forces, he currently resides in The Tower of London, his dad has just been made a Lord and Tom is now ‘The Honourable’… so naturally, a career in comedy beckoned! Funny and charming, with roguish tales and hilarious songs, Tom Houghton is star on the rise. An accomplished and playful performer, Tom frequently shares line-ups with the likes of Michael McIntyre, John Bishop, Jason Manford and Jack Whitehall, amongst others and has supported Daniel Sloss and Justin Moorhouse on tour.
Games With James is a show about games hosted by James. It’s suitable for anyone from age of about 5 and up. In the show we play massive versions of classic and new board games live on stage – and sometimes using the entire audience as the ‘board’.
It’s a lot of silly interactive fun for all the family.
2pm at Les Rocquettes - Saturday 29th June.
Andy Fothergill (left) and Nick Creed (right) have put together more than 270 comedy shows since 2007. You may be suprised to find that they are still in their early thirties. (Sadly they're not.)
