They say that no great story ever started with someone eating a salad. And quite often the best stories are the ones that are true and come from personal experience - the type of yarn that you just couldn't make up. Guernsey Comedy Festival are delighted to present a true storytelling night that offers a broad range of gripping (salad free) stories that will have you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happens next. You could be laughing one moment and crying the next as professional comedians and Edinburgh Fringe performers take to the stage to share their more personal and often bizarre experiences.
Expect an intimate night of true tales that you won't hear anywhere else. It's like a comedy night but more intimate and not only funny, but memorable and hugely entertaining. The storytellers include Becky Brunning (Star of Broadchurch), storytelling genius Martha McBrier ★★★★★ The Scotsman, and Matt Price (Comedian and founder of Natural Born Storytellers, storytelling night.)Buy Tickets

Join German Comedy Ambassador Henning Wehn for an evening of Teutonic jolliness at its best. After his last tour tackled those well-known staples of light entertainment that are the British obsession with home ownership and the self-serving nature of most fundraising efforts, this time Henning’s having an unbiased look at immigration. He also wonders, if, generally speaking, people are competent. Luckily in his case this doesn’t matter as either he’s funny or he lives up to a national stereotype. It’s a win-win situation. Come along. Or else.
“Forget about the Euro, Henning hits the Mark” Nottingham Post
Henning’s latest TV appearances include Live At The Apollo (BBC2), Would I Lie To You? (BBC1), Have I Got News For You? (BBC1) and various 8 Out of 10 Cats and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (C4)SOLD OUT
